Stem cell guacamole

When a professor uses public funding for fake research, all alarms should be ringing. This is unfortunately not the case for a man that had already deliberately misled parliament in a video claiming that embryonic stem cells enabled a rat to recover from spinal damage. Read the full story here.

Instead of being punished, this man succeeded in being nominated to be the president of the Californian Institute of Regenerative Medicine, with an estimated US$3 billion in public funds. I wonder what is going to be the next story he's going to tell about how taxpayer's money was spent.
